GnomeSlice Excellent set of chip tracks with nods to retro/80's dance music. Definitely sounds like Monomer. And for $2 this is a steal! Favorite track: Trials.

dudelson This album is huuuuge and couldn't have been produced by anyone other than Monomer. Also featured is some of the most entertaining album art I have the pleasure to own. Favorite track: Challenger.

Kevin Gaston I started with Monomer's most recent album Labyrinth and got here. Happy I did - earlier and with a little less 'gloss' from the newer works - it has a sharper chip sound but still the percussive strength and crescendo of the later works Favorite track: Challenger.
StrickNine

StrickNine gives me a club music kinda feel with nice melodies. kinda gives me an 80's feeling for whatever reason. Don't mind these words, try the album for yourself. Favorite track: Remind.

about

Musically, the Trials EP is carried by a central theme of dealing with and adapting to unforeseen challenges, and the changes we must make to do so. Sonically, it is an exploration of chip sounds; an attempt to expand upon the chipmusic palette in a way that still hearkens back to its foundation while exploring new, fun territory.

Special thanks to Mark Barry, Scott Chipman, Matt Virzi, and everyone else that I bounced ideas off of during the process of writing this, and to Bradford Hastings for just being an awesome friend and mentor in all things life/audio. Extra special thanks to Chrissy Kurpeski for awesome album art and logo design, and Bill Mueller for doing a fantastic job mastering everything. As always, thanks to my family for their support in my musical endeavors, and to anyone and everyone who listened to/bought/said anything nice about the Ranger Wars OST for encouraging me(indirectly or otherwise) to push onward on the path of chipmusic.
